Elk Meadows Park: Stagecoach Trailhead Parking Lot

Project Overview

This design-build project with Valerian and Western States Reclamation was to improve overall access, safety, and visitor experience at the Stagecoach Trailhead to Elk Meadow Park in Evergreen, which consists of 1,658 acres of Open Space and 14.7 miles of trails. The improvements include a larger asphalt parking lot, an elongated access road, restroom replacement, new shade shelters and picnic areas, revegetation, a safe at-grade crossing of Stagecoach Road, two EV charging stations, and restoration of the existing parking lot on the south side of the road.
