ICON Engineering will update the 2008 Clear Creek Master Drainage Plan (MDP) conceptual design near Kipling Street using the latest hydrology and flood hazard information from the 2022 Flood Hazard Area Delineation (FHAD). The project includes reviewing prior studies, coordinating with the City of Wheat Ridge for updated data, and incorporating 2008 MDP improvements into the new hydraulic model.
Key updates include evaluating and refining proposed channel and bridge improvements at Kipling Street and 44th Avenue to reduce flood risk, enhance conveyance capacity, and improve trail connectivity.
