Major Drainageway Planning and Flood Hazard Area Delineation for the Clear Creek Watershed In The Denver Metropolitan VicinityAreaThe Master Plan study area follows 18 miles of Clear Creek from the foothills to the confluence with the South Platte River. The Flood Hazard Area Delineation (FHAD) covers only that portion of Clear Creek in Jefferson County and consists of approximately 11 miles of stream from Sheridan Boulevard to just upstream of Golden. A FHAD study for the portions of Clear Creek within Adams County was previously completed in 2005.
